I suggest that there should be a seperate blood bank for Jats. Any Jat busineesman interested?

what a noble prize winning idea. Do you know how to differentiate Jat blood from other bloods scientifically so that one knows its really the Jat blood and not fake blood? Do you know someone who can identify blood samples based upon one's caste? Please let us know the details and we will certainly think seriously of such blood banks.

Well Pawan, I assume you wrote this in good humor.

However, I think this could be a money maker. I don't know if the
courts will come after you on this, but I think Foodoosthan mein this
idea could help you laugh all the way to the bank.

I would suggest having separate blood banks for different castes.
I would further suggest doing IQ tests on blood donors and categorising
them that way...(of course, that is just a gimmick...you won't seriously
put any donor into a low IQ...it would be bad for business ;) ).

Other catergories can also be drummed up...Successful engineers, doctors,
and on and on.

I am serious here. Anyone who has the will to implement this can thrive
in that country. Uss desh mein fooduon ki kami nahi hai, foodo banane
waalo ki hai.

Good luck if you wish to follow up on that.

agar aap koi galti karte hai to aapko usi sajaa bhugatni padeegi.......... I wonder why the ppl are using word Like "Becharri" for her. She really deserves for all sufferings.......................

Deja vu

Even though the case was quite a bit different, still I can't help but recall the Arif-Gudiya incident of Meerut, where the girl had to give in to the whims of self-styled thekedars of the society. Her sufferings came to an end along with her life. Leave it! Let's hope worst is over for this jat girl.

On a personal note, I think I have lost a moral right to point finger towards Muslims and the rigidness of their society -- something I used to love to do. If things like this are rampant in my community, I cannot pin point flaws in others.

Agree with you Daksh! Looks like these “thekedars” are totally unaware of something called “Human Rights”! Any kind of forced treatment against the wish of an individual (mental/physical) is inhuman and is no less than a crime. With a hope to enlighten and shake as many as possible, I’m posting here the message from Kofi Annan on Human Rights day last year!

"Torture and Global Efforts to Combat It"
Fifty-seven years after the Universal Declaration of Human Rights prohibited all forms of torture and cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment, torture remains unacceptably common. Recent times have witnessed an especially disturbing trend of countries claiming exceptions to the prohibition on torture based on their own national security perceptions.

Let us be clear: torture can never be an instrument to fight terror, for torture is an instrument of terror.

The prohibition on torture is well established under international law. It is also unambiguous and absolute. It is binding on all States in all territories under their jurisdiction or effective control. It applies in all circumstances, in times of war as in times of peace. Nor is torture permissible when it is called something else: cruel and inhuman treatment is unacceptable and illegal, irrespective of the name we give it.

States must honour this prohibition and vigorously combat the impunity of perpetrators of torture. Those who conceive of or authorize any form of torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment, and those who commit such acts, should not go unpunished. Nor may any State condone torture by a third party. This means that individuals must never be rendered to another State if there is any danger that doing so may subject them to torture.

The international community must speak forcefully, and with one voice, against torture in all its forms. Today, I call on all States who have not done so to ratify the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment, as well as the Optional Protocol to the Torture Convention. And I urge all States to allow the United Nations’ Special Rapporteur on Torture independent access to detainees within their control. Unimpeded access is an essential protection for these individuals, whose isolation makes them especially vulnerable to abuse. Together, we must give voice, and redress, to abused detainees as well as to all victims and survivors of torture.

Humanity faces grave challenges today. The threat of terror is real and immediate. Yet fear of terrorists can never justify adopting their methods. Nor can we be complacent about the broader prevalence of cruel and inhuman punishment, which in so many of our societies disproportionately affects the most vulnerable people: the imprisoned, the politically powerless and the economically deprived. Instead, we must respond to this evil wherever we find it by reaffirming humanity’s most basic values.

Today, on Human Rights Day, let us recommit ourselves to the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and let us rededicate ourselves to wiping the scourge of torture from the face of the earth
.

AMEN

Poonam

WHAT A GREAT ACHIEVEMENT BY JAT MAHAPANCHAYAT! WELL DONE !

NOW I THINK THEY R QUITE HAPPY AND KEEPING THEIR MOUSTACHES INTACT BY DESTROYING THE LIFE OF THE GIRL

I AM SURE HER NEW HUSBAND AND HIS FAMILY WILL TREAT HER LIKE A GODDESS WHEN HIS FRIENDS WILL ASK 'OH YOUR WIFE HAD MARRIED A CHAMAR'

I AM AMAZED AT THIS TIME ALSO THE CONDITION OF GIRLS IN BHIWANI AND AFGANISTAN IS NO DIFFERENT! THEY R NO DIFFERENT THAN CATTLES!

NOW I UNDERSTOOD THE REASON THAT WHY INDEPENDENT JAT GIRLS ARE MARRYING NON JATS! EVEN SO CALLED EDUCATED JATS WERE ACTIVELY SUPPORTING THE MAHAPANCHAYAT!

SHAME FOR ALL JATS AND SHAME FOR INDIAN DEMOCRACY!

I am a firm believer in caste system and am a proud jatni. I personally do not affirm intercaste marriage. But i believe even though those mahapanchayats represent our society, they have no right to seperate a wife from her husband and force her to marry someone else. Its sickens me to the core. If something had to be done, should have been done earlier. This is nothing but profanity to the sacred union "marriage". I consider it a shameful act.

Un panchayatiyon ne goli kyon na maar di us ladki ko?? they are forcing her to live like a corpse. A CORPSE......!

The most of the ppl who are making so much hue & cry on this MAHAPANCHAYAT & are showing their sympathy for the so called "sulking girl", are totally anware of the rural surroundings. Most of them have brought up with a thinking that rural ppl are illiterate, idiot, conservative........so on.........so on......... . Intercaste marraiges are socommon in URBAN areas. Do the villageres ever object? No............

adde sahar main Koi jAATNI kissi CHAMAR ki gail bhaaj jaao...... kissi CHUDDE ki gail bhaaj jao........ unhe koi matlab na hai.......................

But now issue is different.......... ek gaon ki CHORRI ne essa kaam kiya hai....... arr ek MACHLI saarre tallab ne ganda kar detti hai......... to jo we log kar rahe hai sahi kar rahe hai....................

So please Let us live with our conservative & stale thoughts.............. haam aapne sadde-galle vicharoein ke saath hi khush hai....................................................................

I agree that would have been the best decision.......................................
