above views are very much within your rights and community's democratic rights. However, things like Kuttee katna etc. are extreme steps and can not be supported either at community level or at individual level. You are very much entitled to your rigid views and at the same time others are are also entitled to their so called liberal views. Social sanctions by community are acceptable but not things like Kutte katna etc..

I agree with you , but U will appreciate these so called Mahapanchayats have larger social economic implications and because of these Panchayats we still have our existence. In places like Haryana which is dominated by Jats , we all should encourage such gatherings in the larger interest of our community.

I don't know who is mistaking and misquoting Kharub. He said he does not believe in superiority and inferiority. Leave it. Tell me five things which make us jats superior. I will give you ten which make us beast like.

May be the place you hail from has jats who have just descended from heaven. In my area, half the young guys of my community are only good at lasciviously leering and passing lewd remark at womanfolk while scratching their crotch in public.

Another 30 per cent or so are dropouts who haven't cleared matriculate exam despite several efforts and now roam around highways after dusk to carry out a theft or robbery.

I think, and I mn I think, it was a sensible decision on that girls part to go for a chamaar guy rather than going for one of those above mentioned types.

It is time for us stop taking ourselves too seriously and start looking our flaws which are there to be seen. May be then after some time, we would be able say, yes we are a good (not superior) community.

Very appalling

There is a word in the dictionary called "hpocrites" and all of us belong to this category. If that girl would have been my relative, I would have opposed her marriage to anyone out of our caste, no matter what caste he belongs to. But in this case ( as I have to be a Hypocrite ),as she is not my relative, I would like to brag about social injustice and I would like to support intercaste marriage.

I don't believe in intercaste marriages, but I have NO right to poke my nose in someone's personal life and for the same reason, this Maha Panchyat too. The most disgusting aspect of this issue is that inspite of so many intellectuals and highly educated people on this forum, I can see some very stupid comments. People are cursing that Jat girl, people are supporting Maha Panchyat and worst, they are supporting what Maha Panchyat did to that poor couple.

Guys, we are all entitled to have views but we have no right to interfere with someone's personal life. If a JATNI and CHAMAR are happy, then let it be so!!!

My mom used to say " kab kisi ki dua kahan lag jaye, kuch pata nahin ", so why to take the curse of destroying someone's happy married life ??

Better would have been to argue your points logically and not calling names to people. Never loose control like this as it won't take too far in life. Whose blood will you call pure genetically in this world? Every caste, race is mixed millions of times and there is nothing like pure. Pure breeds got extinct long back as they could not sustain environmental assaults. Kings married almost from any caste or religion. If we want our girls to marry only Jats, better we improve our educational standards at every level; else we will hear such stories more often. Why can't well-meaning guys like you and others educate young Jat boys and motivate them to be better educated so that we have a large pool of prospective grooms in our community.
