Few are as old as current generation and few are recent. Since 2004 Central government is led by Dr Manmohan Singh, an apolitical person, as projected. However, current government is enjoying the lack of alternative political front at national scenario but can it be taken as successful governance. ?

How would you , as an aware and educated citizen , rate the current government reigme over above mentioned issue plus any issue you think is important.

If you choose to rate it Strong or Weak or , you need to explain your choice.

~Kashmir Valley Issue 0/10...he can sell Kashmir for Noble peace prize...muslim appeasement policy of congress will take away kashmir from us some day
~North East Issue 0/10...this PM is just like a baby doll, talks like a girl and acts like a slave..he will not dare to challenge China
~Naxalite-Maoist Issue 0/10..nothing satisfactory has been done from his side...his murmured attitude will never help to curb down the issue
~CWG Corruption Row 0/10...why he should say something..he has got his share...congressmen have swallowed 70,000 cr rupees
~Economical Growth Issues 4/10..give some points here..he knows atleast something about economics
~Bhopal Gas Tragedy 0/10...he will not say even a word..these crooked congressi itself had helped to flee the accused away
~Price Rise and inability to control..0/10.......again helpless

It's not the PM per se, it's the whole regime and political setup that has led the country folks down. The current regime is acting like 'Bhairav Nath' and is bent upon destroying those which gave them the power. Its greed is such as if there is no tomorrow!

No government comes out of blue. People get the government they deserve. In a democracy people get the government of their choice and no party can force itself on the throne. It is the people of this country who have chosen the present stewards. We may not like the face of the current PM, may dismiss him as puppet or even may not like the regime itself. But, can anyone suggest any viable alternative which can deliver?

Ye jo aapne issue bataye hain bahut pehle se chale aa rahe hain. UPA government inflation ko control nahi kar pa rahi hai. Jab bhi congress ki sarkar aayi hai mehgayi badhi hai. Lekin akele Manmohan singh ji ko iske liye doshi therana galat hai. Ye wahi Manmohan Singh ji hain jaab inhone 1991 mei Indian economy mei change kiya tha as a finance minister. Aur uska result aaj sabke samne hai. Us samay sabhi Manmohan singh ji ki polices ko galat bata rahe the. Jahan tak UPA government ki baat hai. Humare pass abhi koi alternate nahi hai. BJP to vaise hi Hindutav aur religion based party hai. Aaj ke samay mei jaab sab kuch change ho raha hai to aap BJP jaisi purane vichar vaali party se kya umeed rakh sakte hain. To kehne ka matlab ye hai ki humare pass koi aur choice bhi nahi hai UPA government ke alava.

Yadi aap mughse sahi maayne mei poochte hain to main ye kahoonga ki "Veepaksh" ka majboot hona bahut jaroori hai. Ye baat to ManMohan Singh ji ne bhi pehle kahi thi.. Main kuch lines yahan copy paste kar raha hoon jaab ManMohan singh ji ne BJP ki antarik ladayi ke upar kahi thi .

"It (infighting in BJP) is not good. In a democracy, stability in political parties is necessary. If there is instability, it will have an impact on the country," he said when asked about the crisis in BJP".

Abb jab aapne ye poocha hai ki kya "Veepaksh" majboot nahi hai to varatman sarkar se prashan kyon nahi kiya jana chahiye. Democratic country mei jab janta Sarkar ke kaam kaaj se khus nahi hoti to uske pass doosra vikalp ye hota hai ki wo Election mei kisi doosri political party ko chune. Lekin humare pass koi doosra vikalp bhi to nahi hai. Hum aisi situation mei kya kar sakte hain. Baaki jahan taak aapka prashan hai ki kya aap Congress sarkar ke kaam se Khus ho. To aap hi compare karke bata dijiye BJP VS Congress. Aisa kya alag BJP ne kiya tha jo Congress nahi kar payi.

Recently Rahul gandhi and brigade pretended to get connected with oppressed ,starving and poor dalits of remote area riding on the expenses pretty enough to rehabitilate the couple of villages. Raibareilly and Amethi are amongst most undeveloped area in UP but this youth icon hardly gets times apart from pomp and show.
These congressmen had also started "austerity drive" on the footsteps of gandhi. Gandhi used to travel in second class compartment of train and ironically entire coach used to get vacated for him ...lol...........I wonder how these hypocrites befooling this country from decades and still people ask about the alternative of congress.
BJP is far better from congress. How the congress is a success if BJP was dud??

Weak, A person who has no independent identity as a politician and who contested single election, never being among the masses. Became PM by the mercy of madam Sonia Gandhi. so by such facts what can we expect form him.
Not only Man Mohan Singh but none of PM has taken steps to resolve these issues whether it be kashmir valley, North East States, Moist, coruption etc.
country facing lack of strong leadership by keeping aside the party agenda.
He could do better as a economist if he would have been the member of planing commission. Both two big guns in the field of economy Mr Manmohan Singh and Finance Minister Mukharjee are heading our India ,but not able to control price rise.kudos.

Manmohan isonly a rubber stamp only.
He is aneble to decide even sikh case of 1984.This is his communities case.
Than which case he is able to decide.
He is very weak PM.

All the issues in question were alive during BJP's regime too except for CWG fiasco. Who stopped them to resolve Kashmir and North-East problem? Who stopped them to root out corruption and unearth black money stashed away in Swiss Banks ? (Most of the black-marketeers are BJP votaries. Obviously, it was not easy for them). BJP is traditionally, a Punjabi-Baniya-Thakur based party. Off late they have been able to brainwash a section of 'nouveau riche' Jats also who identify themselves more with urbanite elites than rural Jats. There is not a fundamental difference between the character of Congress and BJP. There are many leaders in both parties who have been crossing the floor conveniently at regular intervals thereby losing their real character and colour. It is difficult to distinguish who is a Congress Walah and who is BJP Wala. Congress has already lost its original identity and BJP has no agenda as distinct from Congress agenda except for Ram Mandir and Ram Setu. Therefore, a new political group is needed to pose a formidable challenge to these two parties.
But in this era of coalition, it is less likely that any single party will be able to become the third alternative. Let us wait and watch till next election.

The current level of corruption is unprecedented. The last time I heard of this kind of inflation was in the late 80's time when Indian currency was not free and government depreciated it hugely against the dollar.

Things had never been so bad at the governance level. How would you explain the food inflation of over 10% being continued for more then two years now (in gross terms the prices have increased by over 30%)? When has this happened before? The same is the case of medicines. There is an average increase of 30% between 2007 and 2010.

I have been purchasing aata from last 4 years, of same brand (Pillsbury) and from same shop, the price of which has jumped from Rs 170/10kg to Rs 210/10Kg in last 7-8 months. Further, the quality has deteriorated to such an extent that I have been forced to purchase aata @ Rs 320/10Kg. This is in the backdrop of wheat prices actually coming down. Obviously, the baniya factories have been allowed to increase their margin at the cost of common man's health. Could you explain me how this could result if not from the failure of the governance?

The worst part is that, there is no shortage of the produce, had there been shortage, the farmers price would have increased. The farmer is still selling his produce at the same rate. The inflation has been created in the middle process. If this is not due to corruption and the failure of the governance then what is it? Have you ever heard of so much of corruption at this level of basic necessities?

This government passed a bill that brought some of the judiciary postings under the political power. Hasn't this attributed to the highest ever level of corruption in the judiciary?

Tell me when has all this happened before?.

I am not sure whether BJP or any other party would be able to stop this or not? However, many barriers to the level of corruption has been broken by this regime and it would need great effort (to the extent of a revolution) to build these barriers again.

Without delving much into the statistical jugglery, I would like to remind you that poverty, inflation and price rise has been a perennial process in India since centuries, with the magnitude varying at different times. I agree, in the recent past the price index has been travelling at a faster rate. But the fact cannot be overlooked that India has been gradually moving from a mixed economy to a laisez faire. In our quest to be a nation with free economy, we have to loosen control over market forces to let them regulate themselves. In the process certain economic upheavals are bound to take place. After a certain point, dynamics of our economy will start assuming proper shape. There can, however, be no denying the fact corruption and mismanagement in Sharad Pawar’s Ministry is responsible to the increase in the price of your favourite ‘Pilsbury Atta’. It is also agreed that there could be some other people like Pawar (Raja etc.) who are highly corrupt. But the scenario is not different in our ‘darling’ BJP's camp also. Moreover, syncretism and diversity of Indian society is not willing to accept any political party which has its roots in religious bigotry and fascism. Issues like Kashmir and North-East etc. remained as it is during BJP regime also. Hence the suggestion for a third alternative.

The point here is that what barrier, how many of them and the overall levels which the corruption has crossed. In early days, corruption was largely restricted to licenses distribution, then it leaped into export-imports. It crossed a major barrier with bofforse scandal, entering into the defense purchase. It has now crossed many important barriers like judiciary and the institutionalized corruption going upto the level of sabji mandies.

VP singh ji, i asked "why congress is a success if BJP was dud" and you started to cite a different story. Can you please count on the matters "where BJP was a failure and congress is a success and what exceptional congress has done". As per you there is "no alternative" of congress in current political scenario why so?

and if BJP is a "thakur-punjabi-baniya" based party what is congress " a brahmin-muslim" or "brahmin-dalits" party?? . I don't think congress is a dedicated party for Jats. I don't know about haryana and Rajasthan but in western UP jats have never hooked up with congress. The pseudo-secularism and minority appeasement policy of congress will sink this country in dearth. This PM with his murmured voice and wobbly legs can trade kashmeer to get a noble -peace prize. Congress is encouraging the fanatics who openly hoisting the flags of neighbour country, conspiring againts our country. No country in this world have allowed this traitorousness and definitely in the congress rule these fanatics are on high vibes. These fanatics must be dealt with Iron fist and atleast congress is not capable of doing that. I insist we should bring back BJP on board to deal with these fanatics.
