Yes in a way you can say that but the main point for social backwardness were rebutted in report because of no data available or no proper methodology used for Jat's social backwardness. If you read report, NCBC basically rely on what others say about a caste in society as social backwardness. So here all OBC were against us where in fact even Sunar wont give you his own hukka. NCBC neither has understanding nor any data over such issues when stated against Bahman, Baaniye, Rajput etc treating the same way as they treat any OBC. So all in all its good that cabinet cleared it.

So, one thing is for sure, there is bound to be court litigation against Jat reservation.

Is it not an opportune time then that the Jat community prepares for it beforehand. Putting together the best of legal minds who are also good in constitutional law. They can start doing the ground work by putting together a solid defence/reasoning for Jat reservation.
 
Kindly read first editorial of the paper entitled " A short sighted View-The UPA plays politics 0ver reservation", The Tribune dated 04th March, 2014 on the issue of reservation to the Jats.

Bhai Rajasthan k Sawai Madhopur me Bamanwas village h. Usme ek hi Meena family se 28 IAS/IPS officer h. Pure desh me lagbhag 200 IAS/IPS officer h jo Meena h. Aapko shayad gyat hoga k Meena ST reservation me aate h and SC/ST ke liye 22.5% reservation h.

Agar apki 3rd bat manu to Meena 100% logo se compete karke IAS/IPS bante h. Intelligent hona kisi caste par depend nahi karta, generally Meena kitne intelligent hote h yeh mere Rajasthan k bhai achche se jante h. Lekin reservation ki hi vajah se Civil Servant bante h.

Bhai NCBC Act 1993 ka section 9(2) kehta h k "The advice of the Commission shall ordinarily be binding upon the Central Government".

Apne sahi kaha k Cabinet is not bound to accept the recommendation of NCBC, but Government should be able to justify its decision of not accepting the recommendation of NCBC in the court of law (if decision is challenged).

I personally feel that this decision of Cabinet will not fly through the court.

Bhai sorry to say bhai 1999 situation of granting OBC reservation to Jats of Rajasthan was totally opposite to current situation. NCBC had recommended OBC reservation to Jats in November 1997 when IK Gujral was PM of a caretaker government. So IK Gujral did not decide on Jat reservation in 1997.

After winning Elections in October 1999, AB Vajpayee became PM on 13th October, 1999 and accepted the recommendation of NCBC to include Jats in OBC list.

Notification by Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment was issued on 27th October 1999.

Just for the information of all of you, according to section 8 (3) of NCBC Act 1993, all the orders and decisions of the commission are authenticated by the Member-Secretary or any other officer of the commission duly authorized by the Member-Secretary in this behalf.

Isiliye AK Mangotra ne sign kiya h. AK Mangotra is senior IAS officer and Member-Secretary of the Commission.

चौथी बात अगर आपको आरक्षण से ज्यादा एलर्जी है तो आप अपना obc मत बनवाना और सामान्य से ही नौकरी के लिए आवेदन करना।
पांचवी बात अगर आप गाँव मेँ खेती करने वाले किसान कि समस्या को नहीँ जानते। अगर आपने सारे दिन खेत मे काम करके पढ़ने वाले उस युवा के बारे मेँ नहीँ सुना, अगर आपने भर्ती के लिए लगी लंम्बी कतारोँ को नहीँ देखा, अगर आपने मेहनत के बावजूद बेरोजगार युवा को नहीँ देखा तो आप आरक्षण का विरोध भी मत कीजिए। अगर किसी के दुख को कम नहीँ कर सकते तो बढ़ाईये भी मत। राजनीतिक पार्टियोँ के चक्कर मेँ कम से कम कौम का तो नुकसान मत करोँ।

Reservation is a negative tool.
Negative tool cannot make JAT great, it will weaken the ONLY thing left among JATS that is Self Belief.
JATs are biologically better developed both in brain & physique...then still why one say give us reservation. Where is reasoning ?
Aur last main ek baat - SHORCUT IS ALWAYS TOO LONG.

[wiki]Sandeep Karwasra[/wiki] lost his life on 6 March 2012 for Reservation in Jobs for OBC in Haryana. He was from Mayyar village in Hisar district of Haryana. He had lost his life in a Jat-police clash on March 6, 2012.

He should be given due honour on coming 6 March.
