Dear Members,

Please...please. Please don't prove me right so soon. If this the way we educated ones, I hope so, talk to each other, even GOD can't do anything to improve our condition. This is our biggest drawback. Please control your emotions while expressing your self. It sounds rather foolish to see members wanting to change the world and then in the same breath stoop down to a level that is unacceptable and unreadable.

Please ponder whether the language used in the last few threads can be spoken in front of your parents/sisters etc. If not then why use it here. I am saying it again and perhaps for the umpteenth time that most of us are directly related to each other even if we have not met in person.

May I request worthy members to please revisit your threads and delete all that can hurt others. I think I am elder to most of the members whom I am requesting. I don't want to delete the objectionable statements myself as I believe that we are moderators of our own conscience. Also please send a pvt mail and find out more about each other.

Kya yaar, ek taraf to duniya ko dominate karne chale hain hum sab or doosri taraf aapas mein respect bhi nahin kar sakte.

Looks like thread is still open. I can very well imagine that humour was the objective of this thread. However, on a serious note, there is no doubt that Lord Rama was the greatest leader which human history has ever produced. Think of two young brothers wondering in far way jungles and how they mobilised the local population to fight with the most mighty king Ravan of that period. One might give credit to Hanuman and others for many missions, but truth is otherwise. If Hanuman was so capable without Lord Rama, how come he could not help his best friend Sugreev ? Why that Hanuman and Sugreev had to live in hiding in Kiskindha mountain range? If Hanuman was such a capable person that he could retieve the wives of others, why he could not get the wife of Sugreev relieved from Bali? We all know that Hanuman never claimed to be so capable and considered it all as blessings of Lord Rama.

Topic can be interesting if members are willing to have a healthy debate, may be under another thread. I am not a religious person. However, I am a great admirer of Lord Rama because he was really the Maryada Prushottam.

RK ji, even I am not a religious person but like you I also respect Ram. and to know the history one need not have to be a religious person. waise toh maine kasam khai thee ke is thread me kadam nahi rakhunga....lekin jab aap jaise vi-dwan log aa gaye hain toh maine socha ke it is now safe to write something here.

now coming back to the topic, Ram was the only one in Ramayan who was not captured or even touched by Ravan or his army. Lakshman was almost killed by Meghnad, sugreev you alread have written was hiding in jungle(Bali ke dar ke mare)....

About Hanuman....I see many people on jatland who has very high regard for him....and they go up to the extent to claim that he was jat...I respect their feelings and I also respect Hanuman. But we can not compare two great personality. Ram was a great yogi and Hanuman was also a great person. some people say that because of him only Ram could find Sita....it could be very true....But it is wrong to say ki Ram kuch nahi thaa...sab kuch Hanuman ne kiya...Meghnad usko arrest karke Ravan ke darbar me le gaya thaa....Ravna ne uski khub insult kee thee....aur uska saare city me julus nikala thaa....but he managed to escape, and before leaving he did some damage to the Lanka city also.

I am not at all interested in discussing whether he was jat or non jat...but one thing is sure...he was a very learned person and Ram himslef have called him the knower of four vedas in Val-miki Ramayan.

I am always for healthy debates. Character of Lord Rama is something which has been inspiring generations after generations. Let us leave our individual egos and debate the topic. Think of our MPs who are taking bribes and then compare them with our national heros who gave up everything for our better future. Even if we look at Lord Rama as a warier, he was far above anyone of his time. He had the humility in face of extreme provocation of Parsuram. Viswamitra who gave up weapons after becoming a hermit, could trust only Rama and Laxman to protect his Yagya. Every act of Lord Rama needs to be observed, understood and appreciated. Even Mahatma Gandhi drew his inspirations and strength from the character of Lord Rama. Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram become the real mantra of Ganhdi Ji's life. Most Jats have been greeting each other by using words Ram Ram for ages. More we debate the character of Lord Rama, more we reach near to the truth of human values.

I would request members to please leave aside personal egos/ differences and debate the topic with complete devotion. I am sure, the effects will be visible as debate moves on...
