The famous Jat people

Burdak ji is providing invaluable service to our community and jats are really thankful for efforts of such members who give their invaluable time for the sake of community welfare.

Particulary we were not aware of achivements of jats from MP,his efforts in this regard is really praise worthy.

Some of them as Ravi ji pointed out may be trated as role model in stead famous.

Dear Sunil

You may have your openion about not having any logic for jat history but to suggest that we should know first Indian history,I would like to tell you that theses members are not students but much senior in age and have already studied that history which you want them to know.

Secondly since this is jat history section members are expected to explore the events concerning jats ,I feel you should have no objection to that. There are other sites where you can study and know Indian history.

We don't recent your ignorance about some of great jats posted in Burdak ji list as you are in a learning process but it would have beem advisable had you read about them before commenting as some one from galli mohalla.

please take my comments in right perspective.

Burdakji,

Please don't get discrouged by stray remarks of some individuals. You are doing a great service to the community. I agree with Narender bhai when he says that your efforts in bringing out info about our jat leaders from MP is praise worthy.

Mr.Sunil your member id should be sunil-420 and not sunil20. A genuine Jat member would't question the validity of knowing our history. Please refrain from making such comments in future.

I am not agreeing with you either. I do not think there is any logic of Jat history!
First we should have good knowledge of ‘Indian History’.

Dear Sunil

Please do not take offence

Most of the History of India is the History of the Jats

Could I suggest you go through the archives here, and on the Jathistory group before you respond ?

Karb,
My apologies for my previous comment on Jat History. As this site is dedicated for Jats so I have no problem at all.

I am so sorry for that.

Ravi,
History of india is not histroy of Jat..please do not make your own Histroy.. sorry for so rude!
I was so rude because many of jats in that lists are not famous and deinitely not role models either.
Its very true Ch. Chotu Ram is famous, great man and role models as well..same is for Ch. Charan singh
But if will add CHautala and his sons name with Chotu ram -than its insult for these great ppls.
burdak ji provided biblography of Kamal Patel, BJP leader..do u think kamal is role models? or famous?
I feel its insult for our great jats leader with lists of these BJP/Congress 'chuate bhai nati'
And definitely I will not accpet this. I hope you understand my concern.

Age never make ppls more intelligent.

I could not find the name of chotala or his natis in the list provided by Bardak ji,where you got that?

Kamal achieved something ,is he corrupt ,throw some light if you have an idea?

Do you know any famous jat .please send info about him if possible.

Two More

Khajan Singh Tokas ( silver medalist , Asian Games)
Mahendra Choudhry ( Ex PM of Fiji)

I just joined the discussion so I am not sure that these names were mentioned , I think these are worth mentioning.

Dear Sunil

I am perfectly happy to debate the proposition with you or anyone else.

Our clear purpose on the Yahoo Jathistory forum, is to educate Jats and non Jats( specially the latter) about Jat History, and restore to the Jats what belongs to them.

We deal with sceptics and nay sayers, continually.None have been able to escape the facts, once they are shown to them.

As for Jat -Indian history, I had suggested you read the posts here and in the Yahoo Jathistory group.

Jat history is also somewhat broader than Indian History.

May I presume you have gone through the archives?

Would you like to start a separate thread?

You are welcome to do so here or on the yahoo Jathistory forum, wherever you feel more comfortable

Best regards

Kamal Patel, whoever he is is a political leader

He has achieved being elected.

To achieve something , a community has to throw up political leaders, for without political leadership, the community interest will be left behind.

Patel in this competetive environment has achieved success.

Besides who says he is corrupt, please provide the evidence!

If you cannot , then please do not slander him.

Best regards

Ravi Chaudhary

Kamal Patel is a young and dynamic leader. He has been winning election in continuous three elections, both in congress regime and in BJP government. A corrupt politician cannot stand before the public. He became a cabinet minister in this hard and cutthroat competition. That too in a state where population of Jats is nominal. It is not like UP, Haryana, Rajasthan where only Jat will be elected. So you have to give credit to such a leader. All leaders are not corrupt. He has done works to his achievement in his area. He is not related to me nor he is in my street. I am 800 km away from Kamal Patel. This leader has struggled very much against corrupt officers. How can one give a sweeping statement about every body? A famous man has not been defined any where but we assume that a sizable population knows him and his achievements. If we do not write for our Jat brothers whom do you expect to write for us???

Ravi,
What is your contribution to jats history? What is your profile? Did you published any paper or jat history in referred journal?
Have you written any book?

I can debate with only –who did some contribution for jats society and history (definitely not cut and paste from website)

So, I do not think you are qualified for debate with me. Moreover, the ppls like you in overseas need to read this history from yahoo group etc etc.
I hope you understand my point.

I am not sure how this is relevant, and I not one to brandish my qualifications and profession all over but to satisfy you-

by profession I am a CA, and I am graduate of St Stephens's College, New Delhi, IIM Calcutta, and run a Management Development Organization in Canada.

I have been a student of history since my school days in the 1960's.

I write on the internet. I find it reaches more people.

One of these days I may even write a book, and publish it on line. The book effectively will be compedium of my writinhgs so far.

So for a preview, read my posts

I am the founder and one of the moderators of the yahoo Jathistory group.

Today it has over 400 members, from all across the world- Jats and non Jats, Indians and non Indians, academics and non academics

My posts on Jat history can be seen also on the archives of this site.

They can aslo be seen on other sites, where Jat history is discussed.

In fact the history section of this site- Jatland, was created after I started to post here.

Have you been through my posts?

Now if you do have something to debate about, do post it!

Ravi Chaudhary

I may also add, that the prime objective of our Yahoo Jathistory group, and mine, has been to to educate Jats and non Jats in their History and Culture.

Primarily by bringing to the fore, aspects of the history of the Jats, which are not taught in Indian and non Indian history books.

Another key objective has been to remove the negative stereotypes that Indian Historians have been propogating about the Jats.

By putting forth the Jat history, debate and discussion, we are meeting increasing success, and people who were at one time happily putting forth unsubstantiated negative material, are now backtracking.

This can only be good for our community and for our younger generation, and their generations to come.

Best regards

Ravi Chaudhary
