Same old story

This is the new episode of same old serial going on for quite some time in this site.

some of these VHP or RSS guys(sorry if my guss is wrong) keep coming here they immidiately starts talking about about Indian history futility of jat history talking about Hindu identity and trying to negate a jat identity.

So far so good.

Then they start raising questions about the efforts and academics of our senior respected members without seeing any of their posts or visiting those sites.

This I feel is not right. Our efforts in this regard are not personal duals but attempt to discourage the slanderous aspersions on our respected members as jats can't be ungrateful to their contributions.

I think we are not here to talk on RSS and VHP.

I am not sure how this is relevant, and I not one to brandish my qualifications and profession all over but to satisfy you-



by profession I am a CA, and I am graduate of St Stephens's College, New Delhi, IIM Calcutta, and run a Management Development Organization in Canada.

I have been a student of history since my school days in the 1960's.

I write on the internet. I find it reaches more people.

One of these days I may even write a book, and publish it on line. The book effectively will be compedium of my writinhgs so far.

Today it has over 400 members, from all across the world- Jats and non Jats, Indians and non Indians, academics and non academics

yardstick to measure fame



Well as far as i know fame is of two types, either good or it is bad. Nathuram godse is as famous as Mahatma Gandhi, or infamous as most would argue. So the point here is what yardstcik one uses to define fame, is it morally uprightedness( which itself has ever changing face) or money or power or some thing else as per beholder's mind matrix. Digging deeper into submatters of the later, it is a very very tight rope one is walking and even Mahatma Gandhi ji has been termed a traitor but when u look at overall picture in good faith and intentions the poor guy gave us more then what we deserved(going by the scale of mess and corruption we indulged in after indepedence).

To cut a long story short all this is debatable and nobody is right or wrong and it is important to respect everybodies view arriving at the measuring tools to be used to describe famous people.

To me, when u say famous(good) jats, are the one who has done good to the jat community as such and mahima choudahry and politicians who have done nothing for the cummunity do not figure in that. Well if u say they have done well for themselves then mallika and pamela bordes would top the list.
