Who will form Popular Government in Delhi

People switch in jobs, why politicians seen as different when it comes to switching a party?
I see a difference between switching a job and a party. When a politician joins a particular party it does mean he/she is agree on the party's ideology. Switching the party is not that easy as it seems in first look. Imagine as an individual you have to prepare yourself to accept that ideology which used to be untouchable for you when you were in other party.
Before joining other party you have to kill your ideology which was associated with previous party. Is it easy to change your thoughts, values and ideology to join another party? I don't think so any morality can left behind this after that.
One can give the justification that he/she was in a wrong party that is why he/she is leaving. But why this thing come up in mind when you are needed to form a government. Just to take the benefit of the opportunity.
Being a HR person I see two major reasons to change/leave the Job..The quality of work (including workplace culture and scope of career growth) and the monetary benefits. The same thing apply to a political party but to some extent. Here monetary benefits play a major role...

Bhai nothing wrong

Ek party ko kisi area ke local ne vote nhi diye. Or waha se kisi or party Ka candidate jeet Jata hai, wo jeeta hua candidate usi party ko join kar leta, what voters will think

like ager modi ji congress join kar to aapko kasia laga

The days are gone when people used to join politics to serve the people and now they opt politics as a profession to grind their own axe.

Beautifully summed up the currently emerging scenario at Delhi !!

BJP is running away from DELHI - ELECTIONS !! Kyunki saare paise to Modi ki campaign par kharch diye.

Waise bhi ye BJP wale dukandaar hai genetically........1000 crores elections main phookan ki bajayein 10-20 lakh main naye naye chune MLA bikkan ne taiyyar hain to mehnga sauda kyun karein ?

The BJP appears ready to form government in Delhi if invited by Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung, notwithstanding opposition from some senior leaders.

Delhi BJP president Satish Upadhyay, who is known to be favouring formation of government by the party, indicated a decision will be taken on the issue in a day or two.

“There will be clarity on the issue within a day or two. We will be able to take a decision on government formation only after getting an invite from the Lt. Governor,” Mr. Upadhyay told PTI.

Earlier, he met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and discussed the political situation. It was his second meeting with Mr. Singh in the last three days.

It is most likely that elections for Delhi Assembly would be held in February, 2015.

BJP,INC, AAP and some more parties and independents would once again try their

level best to win the confidence of the electors to run the future government at Delhi.

Perhaps, this time Delhi people, instead of a hung assembly, will give a clear majority to some party.

Let us see who succeeds or fails in their attempt.

I do NOT want a POPULAR GOVERNMENT.

We want CLEAN, TRANSPARENT & ACCOUNTABLE GOVERNANCE ... JATs all I want jeee :)

Whether it is popular or not, a democratically elected government is named in the parlance of political studies, 'popular government'. So Delhi needs one elected government for installation of that the decks are being cleared and it is expected that before expiry of present stint of governor's rule till Mid February, it would be there !

On a positive side, new elections might produce stable government with clear majority but on a flip side frequent elections cost state exchequer and tax-payers crores of money which could be better spent on education, health-care, etc. Million $$ question is, will the new leaders (MLAs) be any better than the current lot, in-terms of their value-add for providing corruption-free, timely service-oriented for the masses, and so on. Otherwise, elections are sheer waste of public money.

This dilly-dallying and playing cat-and-mouse games with frequent change of stand by congress, AAP and BJP shows they are taking people for a ride and this shows LACK OF ACCOUNTABILITY (for playing vested-interest political games) and not coming to some kind of workable solution to form govt to deliver services for the masses. Politics, after religion, seems most profitable business.

Last year people voted for AAP as a result they won 28 seats. Created chaos for 49 days as they couldn't fulfill the promises made by them. Now again looking for secular issues to garner Muslim votes. I think people of Delhi should vote wisely. Almost an year has been wasted already. Politics goes on but common people suffer.

Because they are switching the product they paddled to us (manifesto, ideology, etc) once they get elected (got paid by us in terms of votes). No one likes to pay for A and end up getting B. They get elected with promises of serving people but end up being self-serving only. :)

This has happened because of fractured mandate given to outgoing Assembly by the electorate. So long decisive majority to a single party or an alliance of parties is not thrown, this type of stalemate happens !

Parllel power game can also be noted here. Even Maharashtra is also facing the same problem as the witnessed in Delhi Assembly scramble for power. Congress extended support to AAP without asking and the same is followed by NCP in Maharashtra who are extending outside support to BJP which has officially not asked for ! The game is to create permanent wedge between BJP and Shivasena. Let us see what happens there.

What is in store for Delhi people in the forthcoming assembly elections, would be an interesting political turning point for many a politicians and political party's fortune !
