Exactly. Every party considers winnability, also maintain a balance to their voters(only jats can get them all the seats). Ultimately sari biradariya lo appeasement kaho ya participation wo ek factor seats dene me rehta hai.

Had discussion with few at root in Sonepat and Hisar. Sampat is having good hold this time. And the person in concern told that bheetarghat from JP and others might be more harmful to him than outer. So if not at drivers seat, he would be good second there.

At Sonepat, Padam don't have any hold other than Rai area. INLD ke sath dikkat yahi hoti hai, they have louder fans and thus noise is more than the real outcome.

Jitu bhai, I believe Dahiya has been a MLA fro Rohat. Also, in the past Julana, Baroda, Rohat and Julana assembly segments have been INLD stronghold.
@ Dr.rajpal: Dr. saheb, Punjabi Sabha etc. are like our own Khaps/ athgamas and bahras...and nobody bothers about whom they support. We have seen Meham Chaubisi making declaration in every election and people hardly pay any attention to what their spokes person say. So, Punjabis never vote for Jats/ INLD except a Punjabi nominee!

You are right Arvind Sharma is the only person in Haryana who has won as Independent candidate as member of Lok Sabha. Prior to elections he had spent crores of rupees from his own pocket for de-watering the villages which were individuated from heavy rains and flood waters in this constituency whereas the state government had done little in this respect.

BJP has given ticket to Avinash Minhas, the editor of Punjab Kesari Delhi Edition.
 
Since none of the persons mentioned in the thread heading [ General V K Singh and General Kadyan] is contesting from Jhunjhunu against each other and also that discussion has assumed the form of general nature on the elections for the Lok Sabha, the thread is being merged with the general discussion thread :

Many such candidates who have switched over from Congress have been given nomination by BJP to contest Lok Sabha elections in Haryana like Dharambir Singh, Raj Kumar Saini, Rao Inderjeet Singh and Naresh Kaushik from Bhiwani-Mgarh, Kurukshetra, Gurgaon and Sonepat parliamentary constituencies respectively.

Jite, would you agree that BJP doesn't have suitable and winnable candidates of their own and fielding defectors! I wish and hope all these defectors get defeated and that should discourage future defection when the elections are around!

You are right this is time to purge politics from the malady of defections.

If defectors are taught a lesson or two at the hustings, the political parties themselves would be discouraged to invite defections. Otherwise, past Gahlot government in Rajasthan and present Hooda Government in Haryana are shining examples of direct beneficiaries of mass defections from BSP and HJC MLAs respectively.

In Rajasthan people are more committed to leaders than ideology or political party. Interest and identity politics dominate here. Entry of Sonaram will help BJP in neighboring constituencies like Bikaner,Nagaur,Jodhpur,Rajsamand,etc.
Though anti-jat people may revolt.

Bhaisaab, BJP is no good .. BJP and Congress are like chor chor mausare bhai.
However this is a welcome step to lure Jat voters and to shut up false Pro Jats who think BJP is against Jats.

You selectively forgot to mention INLD terror reign which was a direct beneficiary of BJP back stabbing to Ch Bansilal.

Because Jats votes based on party and Punjabi/Brahmin votes bases on caste. For eg. last election INLD cleaned up congress in all the rural constituencies except Karnal where the fight is between BJP Vs Congress due to punjabi (non Jat sikhs) votes.

In MP election it's just like whosoever get majority votes from Karnal city wins the seat as majority of margin winner get from the city.
