Which Party has given how many tickets to Jats for MP elections 2014?
Friends,
According to concensus 2011, there are almost 9% Jat population (It is just of Hindu Jats or it includes Sikhs and Muslims too, thanks for quoting) in our nation and 543 total MP seats for National Parliament. So if to count on number of tickets each national party should give to Jats should be 47-48 tickets i.e. equivalent number to Jat population share.
Congress and BJP are the only two big parties, which would be contesting all over country, either through direct candidates or candidates in alliance; for example Congress+RLD. So total number of tickets distributed to Jats by Congress+RLD should be counted on Congress Part and similarly for the part of BJP and its regional alliance like Akali Dal i.e. BJP+Akali Dal, so total number of seats given to Jats by this alliance should count on BJP for this calculation here. This count is for the purpose of checking that how many Jat candidates UPA, NDA, Third Front should be contesting in coming 2014 elections.
So there would be 2 parameters here, one religion wise, second alliance wise.
I am putting the figures for Haryana and Delhi declared tildate by all three big alliances.
In Haryana:
Congress = 4
1) Deepender Hooda - Vaidic Aryan (Hindu) - Rohtak
2) Jagbir Malik - Vaidic Aryan (Hindu) - Sonipat,
3) Shruti Chaudhary - Vaidic Aryan (Hindu) - Bhiwani Mahendragarh,
4) Sampat Singh - Vaidic Aryan (Hindu) - Hissar
INLD (It is just for mentioning and won't be going with any alliance as INLD is going independent this time and if any alliance would be there that would be post election) = 4
1) Padam Dahiya - Vaidic Aryan (Hindu) - Sonipat,
2) Dushyant Chautala - Vaidic Aryan (Hindu) - Hissar,
3) Shamsher Kharkada - Vaidic Aryan (Hindu) - Rohtak
4) Jaswinder Sandhu - Sikh - Karnal
BJP+ HJC = 2
1) Dharmbir Panghal - Vaidic Aryan (Hindu) - Bhiwani Mahendragarh,
2) O. P. Dhankhar - Vaidic Aryan (Hindu) - Rohtak
So if to analyse the situation in Haryana, there are around 32% Jats (25% Vaidic Aryan (Hindu), 4% Sikh, 4% Muslims), it means INLD and Congress has given equal or above than what our population size is in Haryana, where as BJP+HJC even after being two parties, have eaten one a minimum and 2 a maximum of tickets of Jats.
Thanks for mentioning about Jat candidates from AAP and BSP if any has the list.
In Delhi:
Jats are around 15% of total population of Delhi as of the day and tickets announced and conferred on Jats name tildate
BJP = 1
1) Pravesh Varma - Vaidic Aryana (Hindu) - Western Delhi
Means if BJP couldn't have given 2 in delhi then they must have given 3 or 4 in haryana to balance it with Delhi one. Congress is yet to declare its list! Thanks for mentioning about Jat candidates from AAP and BSP if any has the list.
For rest of the states, I request you all that please bring the same list from your respective regions and lets tally that out of these three main-stream alliances i.e. UPA, NDA and Third Front, how many seats each would be conferring to Jats. It would be like a pro-Jat favor by these alliances excercise pre-elections. On National level they should give minimum 47 to 48 tickets to Jats all over India.
Also in current Loksabha there has been 23 Jat MPs whereas as per our population ratio, there should be minimum 47-48 candidates or even more depending on total population of Jats in all three religions.
Note: Thanks for confirming that 9% Jat population is just of Hindus or it includes Sikhs and Mulisms too and if just of Hindus then what percentage Sikhs and Muslims Jats make out of total of nation.
Jai Dada Nagar Kheda!
