Your post off late seems like those least effective election commission's blah blah appeal to vote. For God Sake we are on JL and in this section we discuss which would effect Jats in short and long terms.

Friend,

Thanks for your kind comments on my posts.

I respect sentiments and rights of every one on the Jatland.com.

But remember friend, when we belong to a politically concious community, there are Jats as candidates from different political parties. So it is a difficult choice before the electorate. Let them have freedom to choose whomsoever they like as they are mature enough to understand where the interest of the community lies for now and in future.

You are right to say that I am not appealing to the Jats to vote any particular candidate or party.

To all members: Kindly keep up your choice of supporting the political party of your choice without favour or fear.

with thanks and regards

For Common Jats' knowledge sake, kindly share your views on the short term and long term impact of these general elections on the community.

'One Rank. One Pension' is yet to be implemented as no notification has been issued.

Old age sanman pension was started by Chaudhry Devi Lal government and all successive Haryana governments have not only continued but also enhanced the amount of it.

The fate of Jat Reservation lies in the hands of Punjab And Haryana Court as regards the case of Haryana; and at the national level it has been challenged in the Supreme Court. Hence no political party can do anything in the matter.

The community has to fight it out at their own to get it implemented.

Kindly learn to live and let live as this quote in your post is not in good taste: ''I am very well aware of anti-Jat mood in my constituency Bhiwani-Mahendergarh and don't want to give chance to non-Jats of Haryana to prosper and give head-ache to us."
When Devilal ji started Old Age Pension,he was benefitted in Elections .
Why Old Age Pension is Rs. 250 only in Punjab ?

NDA Government even did not set up 6th Pay Commission whereas UPA Government not only constituted 6th Pay Commission but also implemented it ..
Now before farewell Dr. Manmohan Singh constituted 7th Pay Commission ..
I doubt if NDA Government would have implemented "One Rank,One Pension" .. Saying is very easy but implementing is very difficult.

Main hurdle in Jat reservation was notification .. We will get easy clearance from both Hon'ble High court and Supreme Court as Jat reservation is totally as per constitution.

As far as your last line is concerned, when non-Jats are voting on the issue of Jat vs Non-Jat factor and they are talking all non-sense about Jats then why Jats should remain silent .. We must give them answer through our voting rights.

No special favour by the outgoing P.M.

Appointment of Pay Commission after every ten year term is an agreed principle of governance in the country.

The First Pay Commission Report was implemented in 1956 and since then after every ten years it has been a continued process 1966, 1976, 1986, 1996, 2006 and the latest report will be implemented in 2016.

Bhai , In my view if congress crosses 45 mark , BS Hooda becoming CM has higher probability then any other. Reasons - Congress would not like to remove a known Jat face impacting its fortunes in least 4-5 states , BS Hooda has good relations with congress high command (with both Sonia & Rahul) !!! Though i tend to feel that Surjewala will be the dark horse keeping in mind factionalism in congress.

I dont have any problem with the caste of BJP candidate of Sonipat ... my problem is his corrupt nature ....your beloved hooda gave this candidate ticket from Rai in 2004 assembly elections . Samar i respect your intellect
Where is the Guarantee that Hooda will become CM again if Congress won 45 MLAs again .... there were rumors that Shailja will be the CM of Haryana and you remeber the high command culture in Congress and Hodda is not diff from others .... and Yes in national cause i agree with you that you are not able to think above certain things ... Bhai there are chances that after election Supreme Court will stop the reservation to Jats as the whole reservation thisng is just for votes and converting JAts in a Vote bank like herds .... You can support any one

Tel dekho tel kee dhar dekho;

pahle dilli mein to high command ko jamne do !!!!

Wase bhi Abhi se Haryana mein agli sarkar banane kee charcha karana

Western UP: Battle on as vote banks polarised

New Delhi, April 5
April 10 is the first test of strength for political parties vying for control of Uttar Pradesh, which has 80 Lok Sabha constituencies.

The 10 constituencies in the Jat, Gujjar, Muslim-dominated sugarcane fields of western UP also includes the ground zero of most recent communal riots in the country — Muzzafarnagar.
Trends indicate that more than development issues, the maximum focus of the discourse in the region is around Muzaffarnagar and resultant communal polarisation.
Muzaffarnagar riots have polarised Hindu votes, including Jats, in favour of the BJP, leaving the Muslim votes divided between the Congress party and the Bahujan Samaj Party. Amid these changing political equations, the main loser is expected to be the ruling Samajwadi Party.
Expected split in the Jat-Muslim combine is likely to favour the BJP and the BSP, thus turning the coming elections into a real acid test for SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav and son Akhilesh.
It is to be seen how Ajit Singh-ruled Jat party, the Rashriya Lok Dal, which is partnering the Congress this time, counters the Jat migration to the BJP.
Singh is hoping that the Centre’s decision to grant reservation for Jats may work in favour of the RLD-Congress alliance. The Congress is also hoping to gain support from all those who do not want Modi at the Centre and also the anti-incumbency against the SP. “There are no other issues in these elections. It is a fight between those who want Modi and those who do not want Modi,” analysts say.
Though generally upper castes - Brahmins, Banias, Thakurs/Rajputs - are considered the traditional voters of the BJP, Other Backward Castes - like Kurmi, Gujjar, Lodh and Jats - are expected to support the party due to Modi’s OBC credentials.
Mayawati has worked her strategy around the BMD (Brahmin-Muslim-Dalit) formula, carefully dividing candidates accordingly. She has given 21 seats to Brahmins to target the community, which is believed to be upset over sidelining of leaders like Murli Manohar Joshi and Kalraj Mishra by BJP president Rajnath Singh.
It will be interesting to see how UP regions - Ghaziabad Gautam Buddh Nagar and Meerut - part of the NCR react to the AAP challenge.
Traditionally, the middle class is not considered as the Congress party’s supporters. While interiors can still be swung on the basis of caste and communal factors, the urban middle class residing in Vasundhra, Vaishali, Indirapuram, Noida and Ghaziabad is unlikely to take lenient views on issues like corruption, inflation, economic slowdown in the UPA-II.
Intriguing contests in the making
* All eyes on 10 seats of Saharanpur, Kairana, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Meerut, Bagpat, Ghaziabad, Gautam Budh Nagar, Bulandshahr (SC) and Aligarh
* 3 Bollywood stars in the fray — Nagma (Meerut) and Raj Babbar (Ghaziabad) are fighting on Congress tickets and Jaya Prada (Bijnor) is contesting on the RLD ticket
* Saharanpur is in the limelight after Congress’ Imran Masood’s hate speech against Modi
* Ghaziabad is the high-profile constituency with triangular contest among VK Singh (BJP), Raj Babbar (Cong), Shazia Ilmi (AAP)

Jailed Chautalas rule Uchana ‘fort’

Uchana, March 29
Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) supremo Om Prakash Chautala and his son Ajay may be in jail, but thousands of diehard loyalists who sent Chautala Senior to the Haryana Vidhan Sabha from the Uchana Assembly segment are concentrating their energies on April 10 when the state votes. It may be just one of the nine segments in the Hisar Parliamentary Constituency, but there’s clearly “sympathy for the Chautalas”.

OP Chautala and his son Ajay, who contested the last Parliamentary elections from here, are serving a jail term after being convicted in the teachers recruitment scam. Ajay lost the Hisar bypoll to Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC) president and ex-chief minister Bhajan Lal's son Kuldeep Bishnoi. Bishnoi is locked in a contest with Dushyant, a fourth generation Chautala and Ajay’s son.
Talk of electoral politics in the most casual manner leaves no doubt about the mood in this Jat heartland. As committed HJC workers distribute leaflets that read ‘Why Kuldeep Bishnoi? Ten reasons to vote for Bishnoi’, INLD supporters make no bones about "missing" their "beloved leader".
Steel plates welded on to tractors and graffiti on vehicles proclaiming, "I am a Jat, I am for INLD" is a common sight. Where other voters are hesitant to give out their mind, INLD supporters flaunt their affiliation with pride. This may come as bad news for some, but talk of the "bright" electoral prospects of the INLD nominee is music to the ears of many. The broad smile that follows in Uchana indicates the contest would primarily be between the INLD and the HJC, with the Congress also in the fray. Also a Jat, Congress nominee and ex-finance minister Sampat Singh, holds sway in the Nalwa Assembly segment in this Parliamentary constituency. Sampat Singh is the sitting Congress MLA in the Haryana Vidhan Sabha.
The mood of the area is best reflected in interactions with visitors to ‘Pandtan da Dhaba’, a famous eating joint on the Jind Road in Uchana. “Voters are clearly divided on the basis of caste. While the Jat voter is choosing between INLD and the Congress in that order, the non-Jat voter is clearly in favour of the HJC. The sympathy that is apparent here may not be there in other parts of the constituency, so the mood here may not be a correct representation of voting preferences,” says Pappu, the dhaba owner, who has seen many elections since the 1980s.
The division and undercurrent of voter mood is apparent and palpable. “I won’t see his face, leave aside read his campaign material!” is how a ‘tau’ (village elder) reacts to a party worker trying to hand him the brochure of a party he does not support.
It’s an all-male bastion and politics, too, is governed and run by men. There is no woman campaigning or managing any party office.
Also, like the rest of the country, there is no opinion on dynastic politics. Therefore, while Dushyant is cashing in on his father, grandfather and great grandfather's political legacy, Bishnoi's pamphlets carry the picture of his son Bhavya, who seeks votes in the name of his grandfather and ex-chief minister Bhajan Lal.
“Apna samay kharab mat karo, mahare saare parivar ki vote to mahare leader ko hi jaave, chehra koi vi hove (don't waste your time, our vote will go to our leader, irrespective of the face or name on the ballot paper)” is how Varinder Kumar responds to queries.

It is hoped that these turncoats would be eliminated at the hustings by the politically conscious electorate of the country.

One of the main problems that country is facing today, is insufficient infrastructure and lack of public support system. An example of the pathetic situation can be seen inform of availability of numbers of doctors in the country.

What this country does not need is any more "Mandirs" or "Masjids" or any crappy religious, communal issues.

Britishers laid the foundation of a study system, where a person studied a fact before taking a decision or making a remark on the issue, instead India is becoming a new Pakistan where religion and nepotismic goonic political identities takes over public life and priorities.

India is becoming a reactionary society, where reactions are being done by goons, uneducated people who do not understand meaning or religion and faith. Such people are being led by today's politicians.
India is falling into political crap of corrupt and nepotismic people.

We hardly have any good global leader leave aside good local leaders, which are very few in numbers.

The greatest setback to India was its division of ancient "Bharart", which divided the country on religious identities. Atal Bihari Vajpayee as prime minister started his leadership with a noble cause of starting cross border trade with Pakistan and opening up the borders. This was the best thing, that could have happened to this country. This would have boosted the economics of the country and would have increased the trade between the countries, thereby helping in economic condition of the people at large. Entire Indian subcontinent which includes India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Nepal, Bangladesh are in the clutches of terror in the name of religion and is plagued by illiteracy and uneducated masses.

Opening up borders would have let common people explore their ancient past of mohanjodaro, harappa and mehrgarh all present in India, Pakistan and Afghanistan. We must remember King Shakuni of Mahabharata was present in "Kandhar" and not in present day India. This also means our tribal and blood roots are connected in Pakistan and Afghanistan. This kind of common insights and common ancestry are always binding factors which rise above any religious identity.

Present day politicians thrive on communal identities, religious identities, goonic mentality, mentality of creating fear and spreading propaganda and ignorance. Which is a bigger threat to the nation then so called extremist forces.

Just imagine, if there is 8 lane highway going all the way across India, Pakistan and Afghanistan, people will be able to travel freely without visa or any other kind of restrictions and do cross border trade. Trade brings money power, money power gets u out of the hands of religious crap.

I have to say the reality of the situation is totally different and the fact remains that politicians and governments promise so much and deliver nothing but corruption, hate, goons and feeble executionary system.

One of the main problems is the time period and the kind of long dreams and promises that these politicians show to the people of India.

5 years is a long time in today's context, rather the time period of the government must be of two years and must be linked to straightforward development policies of infrastructure, monetary and other social needs of the people.

What most political parties and politicians do is sell big dreams of long term to the common people and during the time period of 5 years are able to manipulate those dreams in all forms and common people are left with no development. This so happens because common people give these politicians a time period of 5 years to govern the country, rather people must focus of small targets achieve them in 2 years time and then it must be decided whether the government should continue or not. What is needed in these two development years is total transparency of funds and development work being conducted. I am sure that there is enough human resources to achieve the target in small time period.

India does not lack in Human resource and monetary funds, what it lacks in is good non corrupt government with proper development intentions and a non reactionary, analytic and logical society.

One can argue that too much money will be spent in re elction after every 2years.

There are few points that one needs to consider

1. "Gabans", political people eating away public money, corruption takes away more money from hard working people than "re election".

2. Election system can be made less costly by using new and better ways and technologies for voting.

3. The entire election process must be re-engineered to make it less costly, less time consuming and more efficient. Or in other words there must be "Election Process Re-engineering" done.

I do not think election reforms is an issue or part of strategy of any political party as boldly propagated as other issues and non-issues are !

Vedpal Tanwar is BSP candidate from Bhiwani-Mahendergarh .. He is campaigning on the basis of Jat vs Non-Jat issue ..
Earlier he went to BJP to get Lok Sabha ticket but he failed ..
Look how he is campaigning against Congress Pro-Jat policies to win elections ..

Nothing strange for the local voters as they know each and every candidate.

Garnering support in elections by the candidates of every political party by appealing and raising sentimental issues is an art being applied by each and every candidate in India.

Friend,

Congress or for that matter no political party has monopoly on all the votes of Jats.

In the same way let him also ask for support and votes of other castes too.

Thanks and best wishes,
